3 questions with… Vincent Earith, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Overkiz

Since 2017, Vincent Earith has been in charge of implementing Overkiz’s strategy within production and service operations.

While championing the productivity and cost-effectiveness of the company’s teams, he focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting contractual commitments and implementing operating procedures. Let’s hear more about role of this key company player and the challenges he faces.

Vincent Earith is the COO of Overkiz

1. What does a COO do?

My role is to look for tools that will allow our teams to perform their work as well as they possibly can and to boost efficiency. This usually involves implementing and maintaining processes over time or adapting them as the company grows.

I’m also responsible for solving organizational issues that pop up on a daily basis. As COO, I make decisions about lots of things. This means that I have to be responsive and sometimes deal with unusual situations for which there may not be resources.

My role at Overkiz spans the entire company and involves identifying each and everyone’s strengths so that we can best put them to use to achieve our shared objectives. By communicating and interacting with all of the teams, I help to structure them.

2. what is a typical day like for you?

Well, there really is no such thing as a typical day. That’s why it is important to be vigilant, keep on the lookout, and be as available as possible. I have to prioritize various developments and identify organizational struggles, such as the communication between teams or with our contacts outside the company, to set the stage for their resolution.
It’s important to me that everyone is involved. Most of the time, we can identify solutions clearly if we simply take the time to talk with each other to gain a better understanding of the situation and see the bigger picture. 

Keeping a positive attitude and staying on top of things helps us from becoming overwhelmed by problems and makes it easier to address them more sensibly.

3. How do we hold onto leadership in a fast-growing market?

It is important to keep in mind that our solutions serve both our clients and end users alike.
At Overkiz, innovation and breakthrough technologies are the heart of what we do.  That’s why it is vital to keep informed about the market to predict possible future trends and stay ahead of the competition. We also maintain a thorough understanding of our competitors and the broader ecosystem of our market. Finally, as COO, I’m always seeking to combine profitability, the organization of a growing company, and quality through agility, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
