A major player in the French real estate market for more than 30 years, the Pichet Group offers a range of connected and accompanied homes. To meet growing needs for comfort and well-being and to make energy control central to its new and innovative homes, the company is focusing on solutions that incorporate smart equipment.
The company has therefore chosen Overkiz to design a connected object management solution from a large, ever-growing product catalog (shutters, switches, thermostats, and more). Objects can be controlled at home or remotely via a smartphone, thanks to a dedicated mobile application.
Simplifying everyday life for occupants
Combining ergonomics, intuitiveness, ease of use, and security, Overkiz solutions developed especially for the Pichet Group make it possible to provide each and every home with numerous features, including connected shutters, lighting control, remote controlled temperature, smoke detectors, electric outlets, and more.
Beyond supplying communication devices and connected solutions, this places the daily use and experience of occupants at the heart of the home. With a simple click, Overkiz and the Pichet Group allow residents to turn off all the lights, lower the shutters, and turn down the heater. They can also receive notifications from the smart smoke detector, simulate that they are home by operating the shutters and lights remotely, and much more.
Nicolas Oyarbide, Director of the Connected Home Program, says:
“Our ‘connected’ lifestyles are creating all-new uses. Where we live must, therefore, evolve into ’smart’ homes adapted to our daily lives, while also protecting our privacy. This is why we are working to create innovative homes, with a careful and continuous focus on accompanying occupants throughout the life of the property.”
Development of these first connected homes, offered at no extra cost to buyers, is currently underway in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Ile-de-France, and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
