To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Somfy, the world leader in automated openings and the parent company of Overkiz, invited the heads of its international subsidiaries to an inspiring natural setting, in the middle of the forest, near Brussels. <\/span><\/p>\n

Poised and ready to achieve its ambitions<\/b><\/p>\n

Through three intense days packed with workshops, interactive meetings, and team-building activities, the group\u2019s top management presented its outlook for the coming years and brought together its international teams from all corners of the world. Quizzes, role-playing games, and networking were all part of the celebration, aligning employees with the Group\u2019s ambitions and brand values in an innovative, technological, and playful spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Digital services, connected homes, innovation, and works of art<\/b><\/p>\n

Culminating this three-day 50th anniversary celebration was a fitting reflection of Somfy\u2019s bold and focused drive toward innovation and digitalization. The Savoyard company booked the Belgian capital\u2019s Mus\u00e9e des Beaux-Arts for its closing event. Amidst the greatest masterpieces of Flemish art, the visit was punctuated by contemporary works of art by the visual artist Wim Delvoye and other digital nods to Somfy\u2019s world. To celebrate connected homes, the Group\u2019s iconic products, such as motorized shutters, found their way into Hopper\u2019s paintings. The Mona Lisa worked a remote control, and the enigmatic Magritte appeared among smart home automation boxes.<\/span><\/p>\n
